The Tides Are Ready to Roll in 2014

The Alabama Crimson Tide football program is perhaps the most celebrated in all of college football. Led by legendary coach Nick Saban, Alabama football has recently seen a run of success that can rival any in the history of college football. With another top recruiting class this offseason, Saban has once again positioned the Crimson Tide to sit atop the world of college football in 2014. While seeing a competitive team on the field is certainly one of the top draws Alabama has to offer, it is far from the only thing it has to offer. Here are some reasons to check out the Crimson Tide this upcoming season.

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) is widely thought to be the best in all of college football. While Alabama football has become the top dog in the conference in recent years, it is still considered to be the most competitive conference in the last, with eight consecutive appearances in the NCAA National Championship Game made by four different teams. The teams the Crimson Tide will welcome in 2014 include Florida, Texas A&M, and arch rival Auburn in the 79th “Iron Bowl.” The chance to see top talent is one of the main reasons to check out the football team Alabama will compete with this year.

Another reason to check out Alabama football is for the opportunity to take in a game at one of the premier sports venues in American college sports: Bryant-Denny Stadium. Not only is Bryant-Denny huge—with a capacity of just over 100,000—it also features a great mix of the old and the new. First opened in 1929 and renovated numerous times since then, it offers historical references all over, but does not skimp on modern amenities.

The Alabama football team has a lot to offer to anyone who ventures to Tuscaloosa to take in a game. From the on-field talent to the perfect setting, the Crimson Tide will look to roll once again in 2014.
