The Latest News On The NFL Upcoming Season

As fans eagerly await the NFL upcoming season, there is plenty of off season news and rumors to keep up with. Players are being signed to teams, causing a lot of excitement and anticipation in cities across the country. The new season is sure to have many highlights.

Tim Tebow signed a two year contract with the New England Patriots. Tebow has been training with former quarterback Chris Weinke, and fans could find themselves with a new backup quarterback this coming season. Tom Brady is set to remain as the Patriots quarterback.

Former running back for the New York Giants Ahmad Bradshaw has signed a one year contract with the Indianapolis Colts. Bradshaw had played his first six NFL seasons with the Giants. Over that time, he rushed 4,232 yards. His career best so far was 1,235 yards in the 2010 season.

Rumors out of Seattle are pointing to the possibility that Tarvaris Jackson may be signed as the quarterback. In 2011, Jackson was the starting quarterback for the Seahawks, but was replaced and traded to the Buffalo Bills. The Bills recently placed Jackson on a waiver.

The Super Bowl will be played in New York in 2014. Plans were recently revealed for a “Super Bowl Boulevard”, which will be a football themed event and exhibit held between 34th and 44th Streets. A number of exciting interactive events will be taking place from January 29th through February 1st. The NFL upcoming season is already shaping up to full of interesting events.
