Get Ready for College Football Season

There is excitement in the air as classes begin and new friends are made, but there is even more anticipation for the kickoff of college football. This year’s college football season opener games are sure to be a thrilling and action-packed way to spend a fall Saturday afternoon. Some of the country’s top schools are sure to bring competition and new plays that will hopefully set them on the path towards successful seasons.

The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game is slated for Thursday, August 28 and Saturday, August 30. With two games to host this year, the marquee games are meant to herald in the season with two events full of the best of college football. Thursday’s game features Ole Miss versus Boise State, while the game on Saturday is between Alabama and West Virginia. Fans are expected to come together, either at home or at Atlanta’s Georgia Dome, for a college football season opener that is sure to please.

The 2014-15 college football season will be the first without a BCS championship game, returning instead to the four-team playoff. As college teams prepare to wow crowds with their spectacular plays, they also prepare to hopefully represent their schools as they play for the big title. If the college football season opener is any indication, these are rearing and ready to go, with big aspirations in mind and a willingness to do what it takes to get to the top.

For many fans, there is no better way to enjoy the fall than with ample amounts of college football. With the kickoff of a new season comes the hope for success for each team and a greater resolve to be the best fan possible. Starting off on a good foot, fans and players alike are ready to bring home the trophy and have a fun and successful run against rival teams across the country.
