5 Reasons to Watch Concerts at Bridgestone Arena

If you love music, then you probably also love going to live concerts. It is hard to beat the lights, the crowds and the energy that all combine to create an electric experience. If you live in Tennessee, or anywhere near it, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville is one of the best places to watch live music. Here are five reasons to watch a concert there.

The arena is home to the Country Music Association Awards. If you have ever watched the Country Music Association Awards on television, then you have seen Nashville’s famous arena. The CMA Awards have been held in Nashville ever since the show was moved from the Grand Ole Opry House.

Brad Paisley is performing on February 22nd. Country music star Brad Paisley will be visiting Nashville in February. The country music heartthrob has more than a dozen number one hits. He began his career in the late 90’s after playing guitar and singing as a teenager. A few of his hits include Mud on The Tires, Play and American Saturday Night.

The seating is really interesting. Bridgestone Arena is known for its oddly-shaped south end. The south end has two big round roof support columns, one level of suites and no mid-level seating. This means the upper level seats are much closer to the floor than in other arenas. A center stage concert you attend could have 20,000 screaming fans!

The arena is famous, busy and highly revered. Nashville’s arena is one of the busiest venues in the United States. It is home to the Nashville Predators and has also hosted the CMT Music Awards and WWE Wrestling. Performers ranging from Megadeth to Celine Dion to Drake have performed there. The arena was nominated for the 2007 Pollster Concert Industry Venue of the Year.

It has been recently renovated.Bridgestone Arena was recently renovated in 2007. The renovations improved the concession stands and public areas. The original scoreboard was also replaced by a new scoreboard referred to as the “megatron.”
